This position will provide support for engineering related issues in support of the operations group.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Includes the following:
• Work in conjunction/consultation with corporate engineering group to support local facilities
• Lead Engineering support for Operations Group (maintenance, production, tooling, set-up)
• Support maintenance group in technical issues (breakdowns, preventative maintenance)
• Assist with design and procurement of tooling and fixtures for production as needed
• Support on-boarding of new products and programs to achieve quality requirements
• Support local equipment installations, capital improvements, and implement corporate Engineering initiatives
• Work with the Operations Group for line optimization and Continuous Improvement projects
• Help maintain item master, BOM and router creation in the ERP system.
• Execute Engineering Change Notices when necessary
Qualifications:
• Education and/or Experience: Preference is a Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment (3-5yrs).
• AutoCAD and Inventor
• Continuous improvement, Six Sigma knowledge
• Preferred experience in Tool and Die, roll forming, stamping.
