Manufacturing Engineer Position

Role Impact: As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will have a direct impact on optimizing production operations across key performance metrics—safety, quality, delivery, and cost—ensuring superior product output and operational excellence.
Responsibilities: Product Integration and Setup: Lead the introduction of new products to the manufacturing floor, from design for manufacturability reviews to final layout and setup. Daily Operational Enhancement: Work alongside production associates and leadership to achieve daily targets in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Cost Reduction Initiatives: Identify opportunities for cost reduction, participate in budget analysis, and implement cost-saving measures. Problem Solving: Engage in troubleshooting, conduct failure analysis, and implement corrective actions to maintain production integrity. Lean Manufacturing Leadership: Act as a VBS Champion, promoting and implementing Lean tools and initiatives to improve process efficiencies. Automation and Programming: Manage and optimize CNC programs, and maintain robotic welding, turrets, and press brakes. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering. Strong proficiency in MS Office, CAD (SolidWorks), and CNC programming. Demonstrated experience in robotic welding and manufacturing automation. Effective purchasing and negotiation skills.
