Description:
Tektronix Component Solutions develops and tests custom, high performance microelectronics to enable next-generation systems.  We are looking for someone who has passion for lean manufacturing concepts to join our culture of continuous improvement.  As a Manufacturing Manager you are responsible for meeting production objectives as part of the management team for the plant.  You will directly lead a team consisting of Technicians and Assembly Operators to meet production output requirements.  The manufacturing team works Monday through Thursday from 5:00am to 5:30pm.  As the most direct support for this team, you will need to be on-site during similar hours.  This position will work closely with engineering, planning, and procurement to enable manufacturing to consistently achieve targets.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision to skilled and technical support employees
Develop and improve standard work for manufacturing cells
Plan, align and prioritize resources to meet production needs, new product introduction requirements, and customer expectations
Plan and execute improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost
Plan and manage equipment and labor capacity to meet production output requirements
Cross functional leadership to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement
Lead and extend our FBS (Fortive Business Systems) Culture

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
BS Degree required, preferably in engineering or technical field
2+ years of experience in a high technology manufacturing environment
Experience managing a production organization.
Microelectronics experience preferred
Experience in High Compliance/Military production environment preferred
Gemba-focused leader who will champion and extend our FBS and Lean culture
Drive effective visual and daily management that achieves point of impact results
Plan and execute improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
Proven track record of successful problem solving utilizing critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail required
Proficient in computer skills (Oracle, Microsoft Office products: Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
