DCI Inc, a manufacturer of high-quality institutional wood furniture, is seeking a dedicated and experienced supervisor. The successful candidate will work closely with our woodworking staff, ensuring the production of high-quality furniture while maintaining rigorous safety standards. Responsibilities Oversee the production of high-quality wood furniture parts using various woodworking machines, including CNC's, Finishing Flatline, and other Milling machines. Manage resources to ensure continuous production and minimal downtime. Set and monitor productivity goals for each employee. Communicate regularly with management regarding any issues impacting safety or production. Review the overall quality to ensure DCI standards are met. Schedule routine maintenance on Milling equipment to ensure optimal performance. Train newly hired employees in furniture building processes. Qualifications Proven experience in factory supervision. Experience in operating machinery. Strong leadership skills and the ability to set and monitor productivity goals. Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with upper management and staff. Physical fitness to stand and move for up to 10 hours per day, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks requiring bending, stretching, lifting, twisting, and reaching. Compensation $48k - $52k annually (based on experience)
