Responsibilities
• Supervise and be responsible for the market area and staff• Maintain cleanliness of the market and instruct students in tasks• Keep market items fully stocked and provide excellent customer service• Show leadership and ownership of the Market and ensure tasks are completed• Ensure all day-to-day activities meet Wardensville Garden Market standards
Requirements
• Must be 18 years old or older• Passionate about local food products and working for a youth-driven nonprofit• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time• Ability to take initiative, work independently or with a team• Leadership/management experience or related educational qualifications• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn• Friendly and positive demeanor• Weekend availability• Retail/customer service experience is a bonus
