Key AccountabilitiesBuild effective & strong relationships with top retail Architects, Specifiers & Interior Designers in the assigned territory.Liaison with Architects, Specifiers & Interior Designers for specification & approval of AkzoNobel range of products.Focus & establish new products and adjacent categories within Architects, Specifiers & Interior Designers segments.Design and organize local promotional strategies through group presentations and participation in Architect, Specifiers, Interior Designers meets & seminars.Ensure Architect visit & relationship management.Conduct Architect/Interior Designer meets to brief/train them on new products.Enable business development, lead generation & specification targets in the assigned territory for achieving offtake sales target.Provide techno-commercial support to team during the pre-sales stage.Coordinate and liaise with all internal stakeholders like sales/sell-in team, technical support & marketing to achieve overall sales conversion.Monthly lead generation & conversion.Key ActivitiesUnderstanding of end-to-end Project Management, initiating from specification of lead to project & conversion along with site operation through SMP and handling of end customer & consumer.Managing different stakeholders at various stages of project and business.Collaborating with Sales Officer and RSM/ASM (IN) for pricing of Retail Projects serviced through SSO managed by painters in the AkzoNobel engagement programme.Driving adherence to processes and usage of tools by the AID Officers.ExperienceUniversity degree with 4 - 6 years of sales experience in service/manufacturing industries or direct sales.Prior sales experience is mandatory and experience handling Architect or similar will be an advantage.Ability to lead and train an indirect team of people.A strong demonstration of execution skills in previous roles will be an advantage.Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).Clear communication skills (written and verbal) and good interpersonal and influencing skills.Willingness to relocate within the country will be an advantage.At AkzoNobel we are highly committed to ensuring an inclusive and respectful workplace where all employees can be their best selves.
