We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Market Research Intern to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our product marketing and product development teams to conduct comprehensive market research and analysis. You will play a crucial role in gathering, interpreting, and synthesizing data to inform strategic decision-making and product development initiatives.
This can be a 100% remote opportunity; therefore, we are open to hiring in any city/state; however, for those local to the Denver, CO and Grand Rapids, MI or St. Louis, MO areas, you would have access to staff members you will be working directly with. Your Responsibilities Market Analysis: Conduct research to identify market trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities within the healthcare technology sector. Data Collection: Utilize various research methods to gather data, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and secondary research. Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret research findings to extract actionable insights and recommendations for business strategy and product development. Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, product offerings, and market positioning to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities. Market Segmentation: Assist in segmenting target markets based on demographic, psychographic, and behavioral characteristics to tailor marketing strategies. Reporting: Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations summarizing research findings and recommendations for internal stakeholders. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and sales, to support strategic planning and execution. Ad Hoc Projects: Assist in various ad hoc projects related to market research, competitive analysis, and business development as needed. Education/Certification:
Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field. Skills/Abilities: Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets. Prior completion of a related course: market research, statistics, strategic planning, etc. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data analysis tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Passion for healthcare technology and a desire to make a positive impact in the industry. Duration and Compensation: This is an 8-week internship position, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
