Position Summary: Gateway Mountain Center's mission is to help youth learn, heal and thrive in nature. We are seeking a creative and dedicated Part-Time Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving our online fundraising efforts and enhancing the visibility of our programs, services, events, and community engagement initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing our digital marketing and communication strategies to grow our audience and raise awareness of our impact.
Responsibilities will include: Digital Fundraising:
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital fundraising strategy to enhance donor engagement and increase fundraising efforts. Create and manage content for all digital media platforms, ensuring it is informative, engaging, and optimized for conversion. Produce and oversee all email campaigns, from content creation to distribution, ensuring they align with our fundraising goals and brand voice. Social Media Management:
Plan and implement a social media strategy that enhances brand recognition and audience engagement across all key platforms. Regularly post creative and impactful content on our social media accounts, ensuring consistency with our brand's voice and objectives. Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize strategy and increase effectiveness. Public Relations:
Maintain relationships with media outlets to enhance the organization's public profile. Write and distribute press releases and media alerts to promote our initiatives and achievements. Graphic Design / Visual Communication:
Design and produce compelling visual materials such as flyers, banners, posters, and infographics for various campaigns and events. Ensure all marketing materials maintain brand consistency and meet the organization's standards. Manage and curate the organization's photo and video library, ensuring resources are readily available for promotional use. Event and Campaign Promotion:
Maintain an annual calendar of organizational events and ensure each event is effectively promoted through the appropriate channels. Create and manage promotional materials and campaigns for events, maximizing attendance and engagement. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. Proven experience in marketing and communications, ideally within a nonprofit setting. Strong expertise in digital marketing, social media management, and public relations. Excellent graphic design skills with proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and Constant Contact. Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Creative thinker with a strong sense of initiative and attention to detail. What We Offer:
