Responsibilities
• Manages all functions of accounting and business operations, ensuring that legal and audit requirements are met• Hires, trains, and oversees assigned staff• Prepares or supervises the preparation of outside reports and filings• Oversees and provides leadership to the annual budget process• Implements appropriate systems and internal controls• Collects, maintains data, and provides reports for government contracts and grants• Provides technical assistance during the association's annual budgeting process• Manages the association's accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures• Establishes and manages procedures for bank statement reconciliation and petty cash distribution• Represents the YMCA with key community organizations and events
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field• 5+ years of relevant work experience in Accounting• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other accounting software systems• Knowledge and experience in non-profit accounting
