THE OPPORTUNITY

The Marketing Communications Designer will support the marketing needs of internal departments by developing engaging content across various media. This role will focus on creating visually compelling materials as well as writing and editing high-quality copy for a variety of channels, including product literature, sales enablement materials, email campaigns, the company website, blogs, case studies, and videos. This individual will play a dual role, contributing to both the layout/design and the copywriting aspects of company marketing assets, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with brand standards.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Create compelling and engaging copy for diverse marketing materials, from emails and blogs to product literature and ad campaigns.Adapt content for various forms of media, including web, print, social media, and digital platforms.Utilize strong graphic layout expertise with an eye for design and the ability to translate core business concepts into persuasive visuals and narratives.Maintain and enhance marketing style guides and corporate templates to ensure consistent brand messaging across all materials.Ensure brand voice, tone, and style across channels, ensuring that messaging aligns with corporate standards.Work cross functionally with Marketing team and other internal departments to develop and refine content.Oversee and update content as needed, including presentations, infographics, blog posts, website content, and product collateral.Experience in digital marketing, with familiarity in SEO best practices, video production, and email marketing.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR ORGANIZATION Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing role with responsibilities in both copywriting and graphic design, preferably in the software or technology sector.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook) and graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite -Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or similar).Familiarity with HTML, marketing automation platforms (Adobe Marketo Engage), and CRM tools (such as NetSuite) is a plus.Familiarity with AI models (ChatGPT or similar) is a plus. The successful candidate: Offers expert communication and writing skills, and specifically copywriting experience.Has graphic design experience and expertise.Has basic business understanding.Ability to adapt and work with multiple personalities.Utilizes accuracy and attention to detail.Demonstrates follow-up skills, time management skills, and a goal-oriented personality.Demonstrates organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently or within a team.Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, showing adaptability and a proactive, enthusiastic approach. WHAT OUR ORGANIZATION IS PROVIDING Expected annual salary range of $68,000 - $77,000 depending on experience and education. Medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits.Immediate eligibility to participate in company 401(k) program.Paid Time Off: 10 days per year as a new employee, PTO accrual based on years of service.
