Job Description OVERVIEW
The Marketing Content Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the content and communications strategies, guidelines and standards for Spring Venture Group and our associated brands. Through the coordination and utilization of research, consumer insights, and business objectives, the Marketing Content Director ensures alignment between brand voice, key messaging points, and content publishing schedules. This individual is a passionate storyteller with a deep understanding of brand development and direct response marketing. 
REPORTS TO
The Marketing Content Director reports to the Vice President of Brand and Content in the Marketing department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The essential duties for this role include, but are not limited to: 
Planning, developing, implementing, and maintaining the content and communications strategy, guidelines and standards for the company and its associated brands. Manage and support research efforts to inform the editorial calendar, pursue new content opportunities, and support owned/earned/paid content efforts to increase visibility of the business to prospective customers. Oversee the documentation and implementation of evolving CMS and Medicare guidelines.  Turn complex topics into compelling and easy-to-understand stories that align with company objectives.  Work closely with our People team to implement engaging recruitment marketing initiatives. Collaborate on persona development, segmentation strategies, ensuring content is results-oriented and resonates with target audiences.  Occasionally source, evaluate, and manage freelance copywriting network to drive content initiatives as needed.  Partner with other stakeholders to conduct regular competitive analysis to identify gaps in editorial coverage and identify areas of opportunity for the business to pursue.  Refine and manage our brand's editorial guidelines, processes, standards and best practices for content creation, maintenance, and repurposing across brands.  Lead, inspire, motivate, and manage a team of subject matter experts responsible for creative development, social media marketing, content development and copywriting.  Ensures the highest degree of quality for all content, including press releases, announcements and thought leadership pieces.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, or related field. A minimum of five (5) years' experience demonstrating success in a similar role.
