Job Summary:

ALM First is a successful 28-year-old asset management and consulting firm looking for a self-starting Marketing Coordinator to join the marketing department. The primary role of this position is to work with the Marketing team to gain hands-on experience across various facets of marketing. This role is tailored for someone fresh into their career who is eager to dive into the diverse world of marketing and contribute to multiple initiatives. You'll support digital marketing efforts, coordinate with our events team and vendors, facilitate internal communications, maintain documentation, and assist in project management tasks. This position coordinates with several departments to support internal communications.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and brand quality standards. Their ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment fosters teamwork and facilitates the achievement of marketing objectives.

Assist in maintaining and updating the company website, ensuring content is current and engaging.
Support social media marketing efforts by creating and scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement
Assist in executing digital advertising campaigns across various platforms.
Collaborate with the events team to plan, organize, and execute both virtual and in-person events, including conferences, webinars, and staff events.
Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, promotional materials, and attendee registration.
Serve as a liaison between the marketing department and external vendors, ensuring timely delivery of services and materials.
Assist in evaluating vendor proposals, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
Support internal communication initiatives by drafting announcements, , and project updates for distribution to employees.
Monitor and maintain communication channels such as intranet portals, email newsletters, and bulletin boards.
Coordinate and maintain marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, case studies, and sales materials.
Organize and manage marketing assets, ensuring easy access and version control for team members.
Assist in managing marketing projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, assign tasks, and track project progress using project management tools.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Marketing Coordinator position is a recent college graduate eager to immerse themselves in the multifaceted realm of marketing. Holding a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, the candidate brings theoretical knowledge and a fresh perspective to the role. Overall, the Marketing Coordinator brings a blend of enthusiasm, adaptability, and a willingness to learn, making them well-suited to contribute to the diverse marketing initiatives of the organization.

Skilled in:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools).
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Prior internship or relevant work experience in marketing is a plus.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and team members.

Additional Qualifications:

Ability to work overtime hours when required.
Strong customer service skills
Minimum Education Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business
Physical Requirements & Work Envirornment:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/work environment
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Must be able to effectively communicate.
