We are looking for a full-time contractor for the role of Marketing Fixture Demand/Supply Planner to manage fixtures, displays, and marketing materials for Ariat's growing business. This role will forecast demand and inventory needs by aggregating information from Sales, Finance, and Business Partners across the company to create deep insights and optimal forecasts. This role plays a critical part in recognizing demand signals such as market and historical trends, point-of-sale data, seasonality, promotions, door expansions, etc., to drive the supply and inventory needs to meet demand.
This position will report into the Planning organization and work directly with the Marketing Team. This role has high interface and collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Planning, Production, Product Managers, Finance, Customer Operations, PO, and Logistics & Distribution Dept members.
You'll Make a Difference By Managing the Demand forecast monthly to align supply needs within budgetDriving sales and in-stocks to ensure adequate supply and optimization of assortmentCreating seasonal builds and forecasts for Fixture Products and marketing materials, and reducing excess inventoryReviewing sales forecasts against inventory goals/needs with Finance and ManagementDemonstrating continuous improvement in forecasting techniques, method, and approachComprehending and establishing best practices in demand planning tools to support the organization's goalsConsulting with Retail Marketing and evaluating recommendations with consideration of strategic initiativesPartnering with Sourcing to evaluate inventory of POP and displays on a biweekly basisCompiling all information needed for orders, as well as approving quotes and fielding approvals to cross-functional teams where appropriateOther duties as assignedAbout You 2 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or Merchandise PlanningExperience in retail planning a plusBA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, or Business preferredHigh proficiency in ExcelLikes to work with numbers and analyze dataStrong written and communication skillsInterpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of organizationFlexible and adaptable to changes and nuances, ability to switch from daily tactical operations to long-term strategic thinkingKnowledge of overall Supply Chain and how individual work impacts othersA self-starter who takes initiative and accountabilityStrong ability to construct and refine processesExhibits curiosity, a passion to learn, an open mindset to listen to multi perspectivesAbout Ariat Ariat is an innovative, outdoor global brand with roots in equestrian performance.
