We are looking for an energetic, creative, and self-motivated marketing intern with a unique blend of marketing and UI/UX design skills to join our team. As Ally's marketing intern, you will play a role in assisting with event planning and culture initiatives, executing templated tasks, contributing to UI/UX design projects, supporting various internal and external marketing initiatives, and managing our social media platforms to enhance engagement and visibility.
This paid internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. You will gain broad experience in marketing as well as high level strategy that can apply to many industries.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: Internal Marketing: Assist in internal marketing efforts, including employee newsletters, updating intranet materials, training materials, standard operating procedure documentation, and internal templates using html/css.External Marketing: Utilize Adobe Suite and Canva to assist in creating visually appealing graphics and marketing materials for the Sales Team to use with current and new customer presentations.Cadenced and Templated Tasks: The Marketing Team has developed a suite of templated materials to assist our sales team. You will collect information to execute quickly and efficiently on these recurring materials. Event Planning Assistance: Help plan and organize Ally events and other culture initiatives.User Interface and User Experience Optimization: The ideal candidate will bring experience and/or show interest in cultivating skills and experience in enhancing UI/UX design process for Ally's systems, including conducting user research, wireframing, prototyping, interface design, collaboration with stakeholders, brainstorming creative ideas, analyzing and improving designs, and documenting design guidelines for consistency.Photography and Videography (bonus): The ideal candidate will have some experience in photography and/or videography to assist with content creation for marketing purposes. Social Media: Develop and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms, with a primary focus on LinkedIn and Instagram. Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and inquiries promptly and appropriately. Marketing-related degree program: Must be currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Marketing, Sales, Communications, Graphic Design, or related fieldDesign experience: Must have experience with Canva and Adobe Suite. HTML/CSS experience is a plus.Social media guru: Must consider yourself a social media guru with extensive experience making Instagram reels, tiktoks, an understanding of social media trends on social media, and an understanding of how to tailor messaging to different platforms. Extensive experience with LinkedIn and Instagram is a MUST, other platforms are a bonus. Excellent communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are a necessity for this role. Confident and outgoing personality: Must be comfortable working and communicating with many different team members. Must be able to make others feel comfortable on camera. Detail-oriented: The marketing team works quickly and efficiently, so the ability to pay close attention to detail is essential in ensuring accurate and high-quality deliverables.Photography and Videography Experience (bonus): If you have experience with photography and/or videography, that will be considered a valuable addition to the team.
