What you will do:
Lead a development team in the creation and maintenance of websites and web applications.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Lead via example in demonstrating best practices in coding standards, documentation, testing, and version control.
Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables within the time allotted.
Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and industry trends to incorporate into projects and team skillsets.
Lead the integration of AI technologies, including LLM (Large Language Models) and AI image recognition, to enhance user experiences and drive innovation.
Stay updated on AI advancements, strategically incorporating them into web development projects and team skillsets.
Provide mentorship and feedback to team members.
Other duties as assigned.
What you will have:
Ability to identify and coach lower performing team members with an overall goal of uplifting the entire team.
Consistently reaching out to support and nurture team members.
Maintains development and documentation standards and demonstrates standardizations and policies for the development team.
Establishes strong relationships with other developers to ensure solid communication and understanding across complex problems and solutions.
Oversees projects and tracks progress of work, making corrections where necessary with strong focus on meeting deadlines and project objectives.
Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (computer science, information technology, etc.)
from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent experience building web applications.
4 or more years of experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, and other common technologies to build dynamic websites or web applications.
2 or more years of experience working on a team utilizing GIT for source code management.
Must pass pre-employment background investigation.
