Role Overview : The Marketing Manager will own customer and shopper marketing programs that directly impact sales growth and deliver strong ROI. This pivotal role will also lead key marketing strategy, planning, and implementation for: Consumer marketing and promotions (through a media/channel agnostic approach, but always with a digital first mindset) Customer programs, events, tradeshows Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement brand strategies and commercial plans to accomplish market and financial objectives Product and Portfolio Management: pricing & profitability analysis, product specs, competitor analysis, obsolescence, and new product development Directs the development and implementation of effective, targeted consumer advertising and promotions, including marketing to U.S. consumers in the general market and also to Hispanic and multicultural consumers Responsible for developing and implementing positive ROI programs Leads research for concept development, consumer insights, etc Helps to lead the development and implementation of marketing and advertising programs with outside agencies that build brand equity and increase sales Collaborates with Sales and Trade Marketing to identify winning, unique go-to-market strategies, including customer and shopper marketing Collaborates with Analytics and Trade Marketing to identify actionable insights, provide category management support and strategic selling stories in support of brand/business objectives Drive prioritization on resources and keep the team focused on core objectives; Balance immediate and long-term priorities Leads the development of marketing communications; determines spending and evaluates financial return Manages brand budgets Tracks and analyzes the business on an ongoing basis and recommends course corrections as needed Other duties as assigned Key Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree 3 to 7 years experience managing marketing with significant experience in digital, social marketing, and e-commerce. Packaged goods (CPG) experience with experience in both large and smaller organizations. Comfortable working with customers to develop bespoke programs that create win-win opportunities to grow the brand and the customer's business. Action-oriented mindset with the ability to manage timelines against key milestones and deadlines. Familiarity with Nielsen data and ability to turn insights into action.. Strong computer skills—the basics- but eager to apply emerging technologies to help the business run smarter, not harder.
