Job summary
The Marketing & Merchandising Analyst is responsible for collecting and reporting information on product growth in the market.They support key account initiatives through industry research, retail pricing comparisons, and goal establishment.They analyze product portfolio and competitive information to assist in pricing, promotions, and product development.

Responsibilities
• Conduct analysis for key accounts and communicate results and recommendations to Sales and Marketing.• Assist in determining product trends and analyze performance for account reviews and merchandising initiatives.• Collect and analyze SKU sales performance reports and communicate trends in data.• Grow consumer survey platform and report findings on collected surveys.• Manage product lifecycle and make recommendations for SKU rationalization.• Facilitate annual discontinued product process and provide competitive intelligence.• Assist with planogram requests and product racking development.• Coordinate and collect competitive information including pricing and packaging.• Assist in the establishment of goals and programs to grow market share.• Ensure confidential information is not communicated outside the company.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Merchandising, or related field (six years of relevant experience required in lieu of degree).• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data analysis, and advanced formatting.• Excellent communication skills in verbal, written, and presentation.• Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.• Good technical and problem-solving techniques.
