Job Description:This position supports patients with clinical needs for medical massage therapy.
LMTs work closely with the entire LM & WC team within the interdisciplinary approach to patient care.Job EssentialsProvides massage therapy to patients as required by the plan of care.Maintains and cleans massage therapy equipment as needed.Ensures proper patient charting, accurately recording massage therapy treatment, response to treatment, etc.Maintains knowledge of trends and regulations affecting the provision of massage therapy.Provides education as to the importance, benefits and contraindications of massage.Participates in program development, establishment of new procedures, etc.
