Job Summary: This position is responsible for the oversight and installation of electrical related services including permitting, scheduling, and installation. Seeking previous experience with commercial/utility scale solar projects.
\n Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate, schedule, and mobilize staff and equipment to provide required electrical services Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical equipment including cabinets, meters, sub-metering, conduit, wiring, batteries, and power plantsLead electrical crews on site and track job progressPrepare electrical project estimatesProvide on the job training on proper electrical and safety practices and proceduresConduct site walks and pre-construction meetings with customers, lessors, power company representatives, and electrical inspectors as neededReview the quality of work performed by approved subcontractorsObtain and manage required electrical permits to perform servicesCollect, review, and submit required closeout documentationOther duties as assigned Qualifications - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.Education: High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education; 4 year degree not required but preferred. Experience: Journeyman/Master Electrician License required; multi-state preferredThree to five years' electrical experience Two to four years' wireless telecommunications industry experience Ability to operate hand and power toolsKnowledge of electrical codes and licensingAbility to read electrical schematics and drawingsMust have valid state electrical license(s)Must have or obtain and maintain OSHA Construction 10-hour Safety Training CardMust have or obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certificationMust have or obtain and maintain RF Radiation Safety & Awareness certification Technical Skills:Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency Soft Skills:Strong verbal communication skills Ability to meet strict deadlines Ability to work independently and as a member of various teamsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgement, and solve problems Ability to motivate, lead, teach, and train on proper work and safety procedures Physical Requirements: Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testingMust have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets Company requirementsMust be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat, and lift 75 lbs.
