JOB SUMMARY:
Monitor Building Management System (BMS) performance and maintain/update the system site-wide to ensure proper system operation.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor Building Management System performance. Perform system data point monitoring, data point trending, program troubleshooting and changes to the DDC/BMS systems as required by a BMS Tech. Perform annually/ or as required, system and program database backup. Maintain and perform preventative maintenance on the workstation computers and Websup servers as required. Maintain and update JACE licenses and system platform. Modify and maintain BMS graphics. Commission HVAC field controllers and JACE systems. As required/or necessary, modify sequence of operations, add data points, map back data points, create sequence of operation and retrofits/upgrade field controllers.
Support and Assist Energy Conservation when needed by performing and creating data points for Utilities meters and Energy Dashboard. Perform system data point monitoring, history, trending, program, troubleshooting, communication and changes to the DDC/BMS systems as required by an Energy Conservation Tech.
Perform a daily check to ensure all control systems are online to ensure guest/team member comfort while maintaining maximum energy efficiency. Troubleshooting communication system failures and system performance. Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC DDC/BMS hardware system components to ensure efficient operation. Support and assist BMS Tech and Energy Conservation Tech when needed. Responsible for building and supporting station databases and their interface.
Makes recommendations for system program changes and upgrades to ensure maximum system performance and ensure maximum energy conservation to systems site-wide. Communicate system changes to HVAC/Refrigeration and affected departments.
Provide electronic maintenance support to the Maintenance and Ride & Show Departments as needed.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SCOPE:

Perform updates to the systems as required. Coordinate with contracted service firms for more extensive modifications. Coordinate with BMS technicians to identify and analyze system problems. Make changes to the control systems and upgrades as needed. Provide electronic maintenance support to the Maintenance and Ride & Show Departments as needed. Communicate with HVAC technicians of any changes.
EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED is required:
Technical school is preferred:
Associate's degree is preferred;
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years' electronic systems, programming and control technician is required.
Experience with computers and servers is required.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
A valid Florida Drivers' License is required to operate company vehicles.
Universal Refrigerant Certificate (Required), Niagara AX Technical Certification (Required),
Johnson Control Metasys (Required),
Honeywell or any other Direct Digital Control (DDC) System (Preferred).
