ORGANIZATION SUMMARY World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world's greatest crises in partnership with the church. This position is contingent upon the successful acquisition of additional funding and may be subject to modification or termination based on the availability of resources. POSITION SUMMARY: World Relief seeks a Match Grant Intern. The Match Grant Intern works with the Match Grant Team across many departments to fulfill program requirements while also working towards the best interests of the participants the program serves. This position requires staff coordination and engagement, direct service skills and strong administrative and organizational skills.
This is a limited-term internship until May 30, 2025.
\n ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist the Match Grant Case Specialists and Supervisor to administer the Match Grant (MG) program focused on self-sufficiency and early employment for newly arrived refugees.Assist in conducting program orientations for new MG participants and meet with current cases as needed to assess progress towards self-sufficiency or to address problems.Prepare and process programmatic paperwork.Provide direct assistance with resumes, applications, interviews, job offer paperwork.Support the facilitation of training workshops on topics such as LinkedIn, interviewing skills, networking, and advanced resume and cover letter writing.Maintain database with current case and Gift-In-Kind (GIK) data. Collect and record donations in the community from private donors and through community partnerships.
