Materials Engineer Job Description: The Materials Engineer will develop & execute test programs and test methods to define properties of turbine engine materials and components. The Material Engineer will provide assistance to the Engineering disciplines on material selection, testing and inspection requirements, welding requirements, applicable codes and standards. The intent is to help Spectra improve their current manufacturing process for integrating the GLSDB AUR by eliminating process variation, improving process flow and integrating optimum process/procedures that will drive significant rate increase capability in their factory. Total travel will be based on collaborative team findings/suggestions and guidance with and from the team.
