Material Handler - Forklift Operator with Experience needed! Responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to: Ability to safely operate forklift removing finished goods from manufacturing line.
Remove finished goods on pallets and move to shipping staging area.
Scan all pallets produced into the ERP system using hand scanner.
Visually inspect all finished pallets for obvious damage, open packs and defects prior to placing them in the warehouse.
Immediately report all defect conditions to the production supervisor and/or quality department.
Inspect all pallets prior to placing empty pallets on the line.
Perform Housekeeping in area as assigned and responsible for upkeep of the area at all times.
Maintain Texas Tissues high standards of customer service by providing quality service of loading and unloading product when asked.
Knowledge of forklift safety and forklift operations.
Ability to follow company safety policies and use safety devices as required Preferred experience / background: Large C Clamp Experience preferred for front of line positions.
3+ years of Previous Forklift Experience High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to count and track product.
Previous Palletizer loading experience a plus.
Ability to keep work area clean and organized Ability to maintain a 0 accident driving record with lift trucks.
Working environment: This is an indoor non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility PPE is always required to be on when on the floor (safety glasses and steel toe shoes) Physical ability and demand: Must be able to lift, sit, stand or walk for long period of times.
Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a sedentary or movement type work.
Work Schedule Must be able to work 12 hour rotational shifts Days, nights, evenings, and weekend.
Must be able to work mandatory overtime when needed.
