Material Handler I - Repair Operations

This is a direct temp to hire position, excellent benefits available after 90 days.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., must be available for occasional overtime and Saturdays.

Reports to: Repair Operations Supervisor

Department: Repair Operations

Summary: Entry-level material handler position responsible for loading and unloading trucks, as well as, packing, un-packing, staging, retrieving and stocking material.

Responsibilities:

Locate, identify and retrieve material within a warehouse using provided pick tickets
Unpack, receive, and stage product for work by other operations
Use industrial ladders to pull and stock parts in the warehouse facility
Load and unload trucks
Safely operate manual pallet jacks
Prepare orders and material for shipping
Proper packing of products and able to use automated packing equipment
Perform cycle counts as directed
Clean and maintain work areas as directed
Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications: Ability to maintain a 96% (rolling 13-week) attendance average
Ability to work under close supervision and follow directions
Effective math, reading and communication skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Safely manage weights up to 45 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
Stand and walk for long periods of time
Close-toed shoes are required on the production floor

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
