The Job You Will Perform: Work as a palletizer operator, applying straps to units of finished product, maintaining product flow through the palletizer, and generate associated records. Following all safety rules and practices Keeping an accurate inventory of the finished goods warehouse Filing change slips and (HRMS factory work order) white copies of finished orders Keeping accurate records of the locations and contents of trailers; Safely using a lift truck as necessary; Tracking fork lift and clamp truck inspections Performing other duties as directed by the supervision Monitoring conveyor take off lines, removing units from the lines, and loading units into trailers and/or placing units in storage areas; Checking load tags and unit counts to verify that they are correct; Inspecting finished units during the loading process to insure that they are free from handling damage and that the straps are intact. Maintaining well-organized paperwork Maintaining clean and organized work areas, storage areas, and aisles; Driving fork lifts as directed to unload the line, and to move, store, and load units The Skills You Bring Must Include: The ability to effectively drive and operate a sit-down forklift is required. The ability to perform the duties / responsibilities of the job with or without accommodation The ability to read, write, and speak English The ability to problem solve with minimal assistance The ability to communicate effectively with other employees, supervisor, and managers.
