Job Overview: As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently moving, organizing, and managing materials throughout our warehouse. This role requires strong attention to detail and a focus on safety, ensuring that all products are handled with care and prepared for shipping or storage.
Key Responsibilities: Receiving Materials: Unload incoming shipments, verify their accuracy, and inspect items for damage or discrepancies.Inventory Management: Organize, label, and store materials in designated locations, ensuring accurate tracking of all inventory.Order Fulfillment: Pick and prepare materials for shipment according to customer orders, ensuring all items are packed and labeled correctly.Material Transport: Safely move materials using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment as needed.Stock Replenishment: Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking materials in the warehouse to maintain an efficient workflow.Safety Protocols: Follow safety guidelines to protect yourself, your team, and the materials you're handling.Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to maintain a safe and productive environment.Skills and Qualifications: Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs consistently, along with standing or walking for extended periods.Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail when handling and labeling materials to ensure accuracy.Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment, communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors.Organizational Skills: Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring materials are handled efficiently.Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred but not required.
