Job Description

Peopleready Skilled Trades is hiring immediately for a Material Handler / Yard Person / Equipment Operator in Rowley MA.
The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience in industrial shop environments, a strong ability to identify steel shapes, experienced with operating forklifts (4 ton & 15ton combi-lifts) and/or overhead cranes.
Prior experience is required and in this long term, temp to perm role, you have the opportunity to earn depending on experience.


Note: The pay rate for this job is $22 - $25 / hour.

Responsibilities: Operate forklifts and overhead cranes Unload incoming and outgoing deliveries Identify and check material to bills of lading and documents Move materials to designated spots Load conveyors per individual project requirements Qualifications: Experience with identifying steel shapes.
Using ruler and/or measuring device with whole numbers and fractions.
Ability to count and track multiple piece orders.
Experienced heavy fork lift and overhead crane operation Good communication skills.
