This position reports to
Planning & Fulfillment Manager
Your role and responsibilities
•Segment the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management and commercial policy •Define inventory policies according to this segmentation •Calculate and maintain in the planning systems and the ERPs inventory parameters such as safety stock, reorder point, lot size, lead-time and replenishment strategies •Collaborate with Buyers for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity), quality, lead-time and flexibility
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor degree with 0-2 years of experience in materials planning, sourcing and / or logistics
Knowledgeable of integrated ERP systems specifically SAP
Demonstrated analytical skills, ability to achieve results with minimal supervision
Strong time management and organization skills, ability to work in multi-task environment
Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Six Sigma Belt certification preferred
Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in United States
