Job Overview:
Manage inventory to meet finished goods manufacturing requirements while reducing inventory holding costs.
Responsibilities:
Maintain MRP tool by daily updates from the Salesforce and WMS (warehouse management system).
Update and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BoMs) for Development and Commercial programs.
Manage inventory plan variances due to unexpected demand and communicate to affected departments appropriate push/pull activities.
Work with the Warehouse team to coordinate receipts and sampling of incoming raw material.
Help prioritize materials testing and release by QC and QA teams based on the production schedule.
Lead raw material dashboard meeting to ensure materials availability and release by the production scheduled date.
Review material requirements and generate a material order list for purchasing based on inventory balances and due dates.
Collaborate with purchasing for resolution of supply disruptions identifying affected programs and determining safety stock quantities.
Participate in material planning for new business opportunities, facilitating use of existing inventory items and helping allocate materials to projects.
Support Report generation including (but not limited to): Financial Inventory Reports, Retest/Expiration Reports, Sampling Reports, Disposition Reports, and Cycle Count Reports
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts/Sciences in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business or higher, or equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Experience working with major Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP) required (MS Dynamics preferred)
2-5 years of Pharmaceutical Industry Experience in supply chain or scheduling (in a CMO/CDMO environment preferred)
Good understanding of core supply chain processes (BOMs, inventory, POs, schedules, etc.)
Demonstrate ability to obtain the appropriate knowledge from resources on Lean Six Sigma Methodologies and proven analytical/ problem solving capabilities.
Demonstrates the ability to establish good working relationships with other departments, including vendors, colleagues, and subordinates.
Demonstrates the appropriate technical knowledge necessary to make sound decisions on development issues with minimal supervision.
Demonstrate the ability to analyze data and information and assess and resolve complex problems/issues as required.
Must be able to comprehend and follow all applicable SOPs.
Demonstrate ability to acquire the appropriate knowledge from resources on with electronic Quality Management Systems such as MasterControl and Trackwise.
Demonstrate the ability to acquire the appropriate knowledge from resources on the current federal, local, and international regulations regarding the production, testing, and release of drug substances and products.
Good understanding of cGMPs, industry, and regulatory standards and guidelines.
Demonstrate familiarity with Microsoft programs like Word, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, Outlook, etc.
Proficiency in MS Excel and/or Access (need to be able to work with formulas, pivot tables, produce charts)
Demonstrate the ability to portray the appropriate level of integrity and professionalism.
Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, regulators, and client representatives in written and verbal formats.
