Materials Scientist

The Materials Scientist is a crucial member of the electrochemistry team. This role will involve working closely with the R&D team to improve the performance and scalability of silicon anode technology. Experience with silicon anode materials is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and optimization of silicon anode materials for lithium-ion batteries.
Conduct in-depth materials characterization using techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, and electrochemical analysis.
Design and execute experiments to evaluate the performance and durability of silicon anodes.
Analyze experimental data and provide detailed reports and presentations on findings.
Contribute to the scale-up process for silicon anode production.
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate silicon anodes into battery prototypes.

Qualifications:

PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working in silicon anode research and development.
Strong knowledge of lithium-ion battery chemistry and materials science.
Proficiency in materials characterization techniques (e.g., XRD, SEM, TEM).
Experience with electrochemical testing and analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
