The Materials Support II role is responsible for an in depth understanding of multiple roles and filling in and supporting said roles as assigned by supervision. The main roles include Transporter, Kitchen Loader, and Warehouse Associate. This team member will be expected to do all these roles efficiently and accurately when needed.
\n Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited toFill in and/or Assist the Transporter: Understand Pick Lists and Fulfillment paperwork, Utilize the barcode scanner to accurately scan items to and from inventory locations in D365 and Warehouse Management gun (PC and handheld)Fill in and/or Assist the Kitchen Loader: Complete paperwork accurately; recording production, batch numbers, etc., Utilize barcode scanner to accurately report and transfer meals in D365.Fill in and/or Assist the pull/putaway positions: Pull product from freezers; Utilize barcode scanner to scan items from inventory into consumptionFill in and/or Assist the Dock Team: Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks and manual pallet jacks; Load & Unload trucks; Properly complete shipping and receiving documents; Utilize barcode scanner to move product within the D365Other duties assigned by supervisorFollow all company GMP and safety policies Required Skills Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or EquivalentLicensure Requirements: Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Candidates are expected to obtain this licensure within 6 months of hireDemonstrated ability to learn, adapt and take directionStrong initiative to take ownership of specific tasksSolid multi-tasking and organizational skills to be able to handle various tasks from day to dayAbility to perform basic mathStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work with others Preferred Skills and Experience3-5 years of experience in warehouse or production environmentForklift and electric pallet jack experiencePrior inventory experienceD365 software knowledge a plusExperience in food production or food industryBilingual (English/Spanish) Physical RequirementsRegularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and armsFrequently required to stand, communicate, and listen.Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch.Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Able to perform repetitive movementsAble to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)
