The Radiation Oncologist will be responsible for providing a broad range of Radiation Oncology services for the Cancer Center patients. The Radiation Oncologist will follow established guidelines, ethics, and policies and protocols of the Hospital, Cancer Center (and the profession). The Radiation Oncologist will function as a cooperative and collegial team member with the Oncology Service Line Administrator and the entire staff.
The Radiation Oncologist will encompass the breadth of clinical care, including consultation, outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding. The Radiation Oncologist will consistently provide quality, evidence-based, compassionate care, and effectively communicate with referring physicians with a growth mindset. The Radiation Oncologist should have a wide spectrum of radiation oncology skills (3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SAbR, SRS, 4DCT, DIBH, etc.) and efficiency with software interfaces (Aria, Mosaiq, Eclipse, MIM, Pinnacle, EPIC, Cerner).
The ideal Radiation Oncologist will meet criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privilege and be Board Certified (or eligibility within past 2 years) with an Oregon license. The Radiation Oncologist should be BC/BE, US trained or completed US residency/fellowship with experience practicing radiation oncology with a strong record, or an excellent recent graduate.
