Job summary
$3000 sign-on bonusStarting wage is $25.15/hour - $29.06/hour8 hours guaranteed overtime every 2 weeks
Responsibilities
• Assist with the installation, launch, and qualification of our newest can-making machines• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify all mechanical systems• Use precision measuring tools and work with close tolerances up to .00010• Work with management to improve work area, safety, quality, cost, and productivity
Requirements
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalency• Strong mechanical knowledge• A desire to operate and maintain Silgan's can lines by performing and documenting quality checks and measurements
Key Skills Needed
• Blueprint Reading• Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
