Job Description: Mechanical Design/Estimator
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design/Estimator to join our team at our facility in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing processes, materials, and hardware, as well as estimating project costs. This role requires proficiency in Solidworks, and excellent communication skills. Experience in a manufacturing environment/ machine shop are also essential for success in this position.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in CAD Software, particularly Solidworks

Proven experience in mechanical design, reverse engineering

Hands-on experience in a machine shop environment.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

You should be proficient in:

Excellent Communication Skills

Shop Math Skills

Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Mechanical Assembly Skills
