Siemens is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support their growth at their new plant in Fort Worth.
You'll make an impact by:
Review manufacturing issues and problem reports, identify solutions.
Initiate, validate, and implement Engineering Change Notices as they relate to product development, improvements and/or cost reductions.
Create part and assembly drawings, BOMs, product labels.
Work on small to medium size projects. Create multiple design concepts & perform trade-off studies of those concepts to determine the optimal solution while managing and planning projects including scope of work, schedules, costs, and completion dates.
Prepare prototypes for design feasibility evaluation and testing. Prepare and execute test plans.
Contribute to "Design-to-Cost" projects to reduce manufacturing and material costs

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
BSME
A minimum of 3 years' experience in Product Development Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of Pro-E / Creo or similar.
Strong working knowledge of design for manufacturability (DFM), design for assembly (DFA), product design and concept testing.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
Panelboard / Switchboard design experience.
Familiar with UL and NEC requirements
Hands-on prototyping experience.

The pay range for this position is $74,2000 - $127,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
