Position Overview: X-Bow Systems is seeking a mid-career Mechanical Engineer with HVAC expertise in new industrial construction projects to join our team in Luling, TX.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, analysis, designing, and overseeing mechanical/HVAC systems within the under construction Luling, TX campus.
Key Responsibilities: Lead all phases of HVAC design for industrial construction projects.
Undertake and deliver high quality detailed engineering design for including 1st order calculations, detailed load analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications and other documents required.
Conduct site visits and oversee system installations.
Review contractor submittals and shop drawings.
Participate in internal and external facing meetings and presentations.
Ensure that all Mech/HVAC engineering projects comply with federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure project success.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Prepare and present technical reports, feasibility studies, and project proposals.
Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
Troubleshoot and resolve design and construction issues promptly.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on HVAC for new industrial construction/architecture. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management.
