What you will do
Perform all activities in full compliance of all laws, safety, and environmental regulations in a manner consistent with company policies and procedures
You will be responsible for all aspects of mechanical engineering in assigned areas and projects. You will specify, order, and supervise mechanical installation and planning for factories in Fletcher. Additionally, you will troubleshoot process equipment in cooperation with maintenance and production staff
Complete assigned mechanical projects and developments from problem definition through installation, commissioning, and training. Coordinating with and supervising mechanical installations by contractors and outside vendors
Maintain appropriate documentation related to equipment maintenance, processes and performance; analyze as appropriate to determine and capitalize on best practices
Monitor work order and production reports for recurring/developing problems and lead efforts to eliminate problems
Troubleshoot major mechanical problems utilizing vendors, consultants and contractors as required
Communicate all equipment changes to maintenance team and production partners
Who you are
You have any combination of education and experience equivalent to a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
You have minimum 2-5 years' experience in a similar role in production environment, especially in the paper or converting industry, in a company with high standards
You are proficient with the use of AutoCAD and 3D tools, and have good understanding of mechanical components and mechanical planningYou are experie
nced in developing technical and organizational projects and effective implementation
You are able to ensure high level safety standards and working procedures
You are able to demonstrate analytical/technical problem-solving skills along with expertise, inventiveness and initiative
You have high communication skills and the ability to relate well to a wide range of constituents
