Responsibilities: Design, develop, and enhance mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks.
Oversee and manage the entire product development cycle, from initial concept to production.
Conduct mechanical testing on products to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
Design and develop machinery and equipment layouts, optimizing for efficiency and safety.
Prepare and interpret detailed engineering drawings and schematics.
Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs for machinery and equipment.
Perform engineering analysis to predict and improve product performance.
Utilize 3D printing technologies for prototyping and manufacturing.
Manage and oversee projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality control, to ensure products meet the desired specifications and quality standards.
Continually evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in SolidWorks and other relevant CAD software.
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and product development.
Experience in mechanical testing and machine design.
Ability to interpret and prepare detailed engineering drawings.
Experience in implementing and managing preventative maintenance programs.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed engineering analysis.
Experience with 3D printing technologies.
Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
