Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SolidWorks, sheet metal design, and assembly modeling. This role requires an individual who can work efficiently on quick-turnaround projects and manage data organization effectively.
Key Responsibilities: - Utilize SolidWorks for 3D modeling and drawing, ensuring high-quality design and accuracy.
- Design sheet metal components and ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Create and manage assembly models, handling mates and constraints to ensure proper fit and function.
- Organize and analyze data using Excel and other Microsoft products.
- Manage multiple projects with quick turn-around times (2 to 8 hours per job).
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with SolidWorks, including modeling, drawing, and exposure to PDM software environments.
- Proficiency in sheet metal design and assembly modeling.
- Strong data organization skills, with a proficient knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products.
- Demonstrated ability to manage quick-turnaround tasks efficiently.
Additional Qualifications (not required but a plus) : - Familiarity with CNC programming.
- Understanding of welding principles.
