Northwest Aerospace Technologies ("NAT"), a Safran Company, is the only EASA DOA Certified aircraft interior reconfiguration group in the United States. Focusing on commercial and military aircrafts, NAT provides first class services in design, engineering, quality, certification, and manufacturing for a variety of Blue Chip customers.
As an NAT intern, you will work alongside experts in your field learning the skills you need to be successful. We strive to provide our interns with opportunities to experience everything we do. From program management to engineering design and analysis, we want all of our interns to learn about every part of our industry.
Working with one of the mechanical design groups (Interiors, Furniture, Structures or Systems) you will:
• Work one on one with a mentor in your discipline
• With guidance, contribute to basic design functions: research, data acquisition, and engineering required to generate engineering product (parts list, models, drawings, documents, etc.)
• With guidance produce design content that conforms to the company quality system procedures as documented, the customer statement of work, along with applicable certification requirements
• With guidance, prepare engineering product using applicable OEM and NAT tools
• Work to maintain high standard of quality, reliability, and safety in product designs
You will gain exposure to the engineering disciplines at NAT through:
• Information sessions with our in house industry experts

Job Requirements:
• Pursing a Bachelor's degree in a field that offers the opportunity to gain a well-rounded background (i.e. Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, or Materials Engineering)
• Minimum: Completed third year, equivalent credits, or equivalent industry experience at start of internship
• Minimum: GPA 3.0 or higher
• Does require fluent communication in English.
• Protracted or irregular hours may be occasionally required.
