Responsibilities
Assists in the design, construction, repair and/or modification of mechanical engineering devices, equipment or systems using established criteria or specifications.Monitors the testing of mechanical engineering devices, systems or their equipment or components and reviews the test results to ensure proper functionality.Assists in the inspection and evaluation of mechanical engineering devices, equipment or systems using established criteria. Identifies mechanical engineering problems and recommends corrective action.Reviews technical mechanical engineering project design documents, computations, and submittals.Qualifications
Strong interest in mechanical and thermal design and design verification.Strong interest in performing component and system level thermal, mechanical, shock and vibration measurements.Mechanical Engineering major.
