During your day shift as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will... Work safely knowing when to stop work to develop a safe way to execute repairs, permitting and overseeing contractors.
Have thorough understanding and application of handyman activities including but not limited to: basic plumbing, carpentry, masonry, electrical, landscaping, painting, drywall, general construction, weatherproofing and cabinetry. As well as know building systems and standards that when applied would serve to reduce the risk of equipment failure or other future problems.
Complete thorough inspections of buildings to find safety or other maintenance related problems.
Complete office employee work orders in a timely basis as assigned including basic electrical wiring, basic plumbing skills, furniture moving, hang TVs/Art etc.
Complete technical employee work order requests including troubleshooting electrical, replacing lights, fix doors, work on cabinet drawers, perform office moves, replace ceiling tiles, paint, hang dry wall, caulking, tile, plumbing, running ethernet cable, etc.
Landscape, move equipment, and other physical work frequently with weights greater than 50 lbs. If you have... A minimum of 5 years of Mechanical Maintenance experience in a commercial or industrial setting.
A professional mechanical certification is a plus.
The ability to regularly lift 50 lbs.
A valid state Drivers License.
