Audacity is looking to expand our Digital Media team with a team member who is analytical, organized, driven, and resourceful. The Media Coordinator will be responsible for coordination and reporting on campaigns in our best-in-class media programs that maximize our client's success. This is a virtual (work-from-home) position; however, the candidate must be willing to work Pacific business hours (8–5pm).
This position will also serve as a media client liaison to provide guidance on media requirements and deadlines to ensure successful implementation of the campaign. This role will be responsible for managing client expectations, project timelines, deliverables, and budgets as well as growth within existing clients.
Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Project Management / Team Organization:Organize all hot sheet tasks for media team and provide updates (both agency and media team) + follow up with the team throughout the day/week to ensure all necessary tasks are being prioritized appropriately within a reasonable time frame.Internal media team and task prioritization management.Coordinate cross-functional teams, including AM/PM, Strategy and Creative to ensure all campaign assets are developed and ready according to approved plan.Support all internal teams with media questions as well as interact directly with clients as needed to address their inquiries.Ensure no balls drop and no tasks go untouched.New Biz:Conduct pub/events/industry/audience research and build proposal presentations.Assist in presentation to media recommendations to the prospective client and explain strategy for selected channels/pubs.Iron out SOW details with lead strategist/accounts.Media Brief:Coordinate media brief review with Accounts + Strategy teams.Take notes of brief + conduct intake with VP Digital Strategy, gain client approval after intake.Own all brief updates + ensure we have a final clean version.Media Plan:Guide and inform channel selection, budget levels.Provide background knowledge of audience/desired pubs.Inform what pub insertions make the most sense (reference past performance).Design plans with rest of Digital Team.Assist in media plan presentations with VP Digital Strategy.For integrated plans, coordinate with media vendors for IOs, asset requirements, trafficking and reporting.Create and manage campaign asset spec sheet.Platform Access:Assist with client communication to help with coordinating the setup of platforms + gaining proper access (Google ads, GTM, GA, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, etc.).Media Reports/Monthly Budget Actualization:Assemble monthly reports. Includes building out initial report template based on approved media plan, pulling data monthly and summarizing key insights.QC and present out all reports with Digital Team.Present monthly reports to client and be prepared to field questions real time as needed.Send reports to clients after presentation and own all follow up items/changes to campaigns/plans.Ongoing Optimizations to Campaign:Support all client communication for ongoing changes require to campaigns, budget shifts, creative swaps, etc.Check in with internal team/vendors for monthly pacing + QC progress.Adding media line items tracking monthly rev for media items.Adding kick back fees to rev rec.Tracking media management, media planning, and media spend invoices.We are a dynamic team, so when needed, the successful candidate will need to pivot where relevant skills are needed.
Required Skills and Experience2 years experience in digital marketing.Knowledge and experience using digital media channels including but not limited to Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, etc.Experience working with Google Analytics software and tools.Strong analytical and creative thinking skills with ability to generate insights, understand competitive analysis, and conduct market assessments.Comfort working with individuals in all levels of the client organization, including strong skills interacting with senior level management.Comfortable assisting with developing scope of work, estimates and timelines for new business opportunities.Must have a team player attitude with ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional analytics, project management, writing, and organizational skills.High level attention to detail.Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel.Desire to learn, grow and excel at all times.Eagerness to jump in headfirst.Prior exposure to life sciences industry is a plus.Experience with project management and setup a plus.This is a full-time, salaried, remote position. Successful candidate must provide their own working space and internet connection. Audacity provides MacBook, monitor, peripherals + a small stipend for connectivity. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Pacific time zone (11:00am to 8:00pm Eastern time zone).
Expected salary for this role is $60k to $70k annually.
