Job Description: Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for building out our Retail Media Network and setting strategy for the retail marketing team coordinating with marketing, merchandising and CPG clients. Work as a liaison between our merchandisers, CPG clients and 3rd party platform for RMN. You will be at the forefront of an exciting opportunity that you're able to build from the start. This position requires RMN experience including RMN capabilities, reporting and executing strong strategic campaigns. You'll be working with the RMN sales team and CPG clients ensuring satisfaction as an end result and setting expectations for growth with each client. This position will meet with CPG clients to discuss priorities, set campaign strategy and report on the end results. Expectation is to support retail strategy amplified by CPG goals.
We are looking for a strong and collaborative manager who is passionate about clients, customer service, selling performance and marketing solutions. You will own end to end process for key accounts. This leader will need to be familiar with retail media tools, capabilities, end to end process, and general selling activity. They should be passionate about all aspects of retail performance marketing including selling, building and executing CPG marketing plans, and achieving key business targets with our top partners.
Here's what you'll do: Maintain strong business relationships with clients, category management, sales and 3rd party in order to increase market share, customer loyalty and profitability. Maintain vendor portfolios (e.g. contact information, follow up needs, previous project deliverables, etc.).Meet with clients on a regular basis to discuss priorities and ensure satisfaction of current programs with a positive ROI.Lead the development of incremental promotional activity (events) which would support the merchandising promotional plan.Identify cross and up sell opportunities proactively to merchants and clients.Act as a key resource and primary contact for marketing media solution projects; trouble shoot and resolve any issues that may occur and escalate to management as needed.Monitor campaign performance on a set cadence and adjust as needed.Present results to clients including campaign development, execution, pre and post analysis in a timely manner, working cross functionally with insights.Manage marketing media solution initiatives and events to ensure projects are completed according to project scope/budget.Set strategy for the team to exceed annual sales goals.Support annual vendor summit in partnership with merchandising.Streamline current process to ensure an efficient workflow.Responsible for the financial tracking (e.g. income, expenses, etc.) of the marketing media solutions accounts.Department management including staffing, training, performance management and career development of associates and developing and monitoring department goals.Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best marketing practices: make recommendations to improve current programs and processes.Here's what you'll need: Bachelor degree required.3+ years of experience working with a Retail Media Network, preferably in a leadership role.6+ years of experience in a fast paced, client facing role.3+ years of supervisory/management experience.Advanced knowledge of marketing/consumer insights principles and practices and the ability to understand and interpret consumer behavior.Ability to manage high volume promotion and media campaign plans, including developing, maintaining, and communicating campaign strategy, timelines, and assignments to reach targeted revenue goals.Manage entire campaign lifecycle. (example: kickoff meeting, execution, monitoring, end reporting, invoicing)Owns presentation of campaign insights, data and campaign metrics during client meetings.Strong project management, organizational, presentation, written and verbal skills based on previous experience.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to meet with top clients, access priorities and deploy campaigns through digital, media and print, analyzing and providing actionable insights. Enhanced knowledge of all advertising tactics needed (digital, media, print) 3+ years.Deep knowledge of digital media sales, preferably within a retail media network.Cross-discipline marketing experience: PR, Advertising, CRM, Retail, Social etc.Physical Requirements:
