Medical Assistant

Details of the offer

After the patient's plan of care has been determined by the team leader (RN), the Medical Assistant performs various designated patient care activities necessary in caring for the personal needs, comfort and safety of the patient in accordance with Hospital Policy and Nursing Service Standards.
Education/Experience: High school graduation required.
Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited Program.
6 months experience as medical assistant preferred.
Maintains current CPR Certification.
Completes annual skill validations as well as safety and infection control procedures.


The wound Clinic has an office in Hobart at St. Mary Medical Center and an office in Portage, IN.
