Job Summary:Schamburg Immediate Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team in Schaumburg, Illinois on a full time basis.
This position will report to the Director of Medical Services and will be primarily responsible for assisting in the delivery of quality healthcare services to our clients.

Responsibilities:- Assist in the delivery of healthcare services to patients in a primary care and immediate care setting- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature- Administer medication as directed by the physician- Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing- Perform basic lab tests such as urinalysis and blood glucose monitoring- Monitor patients for changes in health status and report any concerns to the physician or Director of Medical Services- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records- Educate patients and caregivers on proper medication administration and other healthcare instructions- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentialityRequirements:- High School diploma or equivalent- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification from an accredited institution is preferred- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting is preferred- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plusEEOC Statement:Schaumburg Immediate Care is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.
