Western Wisconsin Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (0.9 FTE) to work in the Specialty Clinic supporting the Infections Disease Physician and Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner.
The MAs are key members of the health care delivery team responsible for flow of patients through the clinic.
Responsibilities also include obtaining and verifying information from the patients to maximize provider's efficiency.
The MAs assist physicians and physician assistants prepare for patient exams and treatments and provide other support functions as directed.

Minimum Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program (or LPN) CPR certification Preferred Qualifications: Prior work experience with electronic medical records Certification as a Medical Assistant Other qualifications: Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills Critical thinking skills (foresight to pre planning of visits) Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows software and electronic medical records Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business information Display and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational standards Work Schedule: 0.9 FTE - 72 hours per biweekly pay period Saturday rotation (3-4 per year) ABOUT WESTERN WISCONSIN HEALTH
