Position Highlights:


Compensation: Immediately, Avera starts you with great wages, excellent benefits including health, dental, paid time off, and generous retirement.
Student Loan Repayment: This position may be eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.

Job Summary


Assist care for patients in the clinic setting.
Develop long-term, rewarding relationships with a unique subset of patients.
Work collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve practice-related problems.


Education and/or Experience


Graduate from a Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or diploma preferred.
Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.


Certification, Licensure, Registration


National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAAMA); or
National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT); or
National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association and Medical Assistant diploma.


Work Schedule


Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks


Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 


$19.25 - $27.00 per hour
