In this role, you will:Manage patient intakes, ensuring accurate information recording.Collect and process lab specimens, including venipuncture and diagnostic tests.Record patients' vital signs.Prepare patients for examinations.Sterilize medical equipment and instruments.Assist providers and other support staff in the data entry process.Assist physicians during visits with examinations and all office procedures.Perform diagnostic testing under the direct supervision of a Physician or APP.Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing.Other duties as assigned.We require:A Medical Assistant Certificate and a High School DiplomaBilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)Proficiency with an EMR system (Preferred)Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, standing, bending and reaching.Frequent exposure to chemicals, bloodborne pathogens, and patient bodily fluids.Reliable transportation to travel to NYCBS locations for patient care needsWhat we offer: Salary: Starting at $21/hr per hour
