We have an immediate opening for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our DC/K Street office.The schedule is Monday -Friday 6:45 am - 11:45 am.

Responsibilities include:
High volume of phlebotomyMaintain supplies for the blood drawing stationsEnsure lab specimens are sent to proper labsDocument patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient recordsUtilize the computer in entering labs and printing labelsAssist physician or ultrasound technician with various procedureCross-train at front desk and assist with admin dutiesTake vital signs and provide general clinical assistanceAssists with the clinical care of fertility patients What You'll Bring:

High School diploma; Associates degree preferredStrong phlebotomy skillsExcellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skillsAbility to work autonomously and in a team environmentStrong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy and speed with data entry is requiredMinimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology More important than the best skills, however, is the right person.
